Keep Going Gals! Love Yourself!

Keep Going Gals! Love Yourself!

Hi there, so since my last blog on loving and caring for yourself, I kept to my word ladies!  I have been really working at setting my goals and finding balance that works to keep me in a clear head space. Also finding the time I need to nurture those that matter most to me while also nurturing myself.

I must tell you, it has not been easy, it has been a battle of blood, sweat and tears and then suddenly a smile, a giggle and a sense of pride at accomplishing mini goals set out.

I decided that although I love my curves as they make me feel like a woman, I was personally concerned for my own well being with my excess weight around the middle, my chronic issues and my breathing which had gotten heavier with the smallest movements. So yes, it has been a struggle, but as they say, Rome wasn't built in a day.

I got togged up in my Roze active gear so that I could feel glam while doing it, for some reason this makes me psychologically ready to take on a challenge, and I started. I literally am walking up and down my road, you don't have to go far, if you worried about the pandemic, walk around the perimeter of your house 5 or 10 times. For me it was up and down my road. At first I was out of breath and struggling and could only do it 3 times there and back, and to date I am able on good days to do it 15 to 18 times, mid range days 10 to 12 times. The secret is listening to your body, with every movement feel the stretch and enjoy the energy it brings. I am still not at the point of saying hey, I'm fit, or bouncing off the walls with energy. But, I am at the point where I know if I hadn't have started 15 days ago, I would still be struggling and out of breath, which is somehow easing.

Have you started with giving yourself the time you deserve, have you been in your garden or relaxed with a good book lately. Feed your body food that nourishes, but don't deny a craving, it only gets worse. Look in the mirror and see the beauty that you are! You are unique, and in the unique splendor realise, you deserve to love and nurture yourself as much as you do for others.

Right, it's time for me to get those walking shoes on, I was given a great tip by a very motivating person, Mark day 1 on your calendar or somewhere you can see it, and just don't stop, each day is a new day and a new opportunity for you to live and love yourself and life.
